After three years in orbit, ESA’s “water mission” SMOS has provided the first and only time-series data set of soil moisture and ocean salinity.
One of ESA’s Earth Explorer satellites, SMOS is providing extensive information on Earth's water cycles – data essential to scientists for a better understanding of our planet
